Hue does not collect any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no servers. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

What stays on your device

The following are stored locally on your phone and never transmitted anywhere:

Your saved colors and their mixing recipes
Your best scores for each level
App preferences

If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device along with it.

What we don’t do

We do not create an account for you.
We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
We do not request access to your photos, microphone, camera, contacts, or location.
We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or any third-party tracking services.
We do not show ads.
We do not sell or share data with anyone — because there is no data to share.

Children

Hue is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data, no information from children (or adults) is gathered, used, or shared.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional feature that requires data — the change will be reflected on this page and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
